Welcome to Bank Cottage

Bank Cottage is situated by itself perched on the edge of stunning open countryside, yet within a short walk of the farmyard. It is an old Cotswold cottage full of charm and character with its exposed walls and beams, which has been recently refurbished and offers all the comforts of modern life!

The cottage sleeps 4, and the kitchen is equipped for 6 diners.

Interior Specifications

Downstairs there is both a front hall area and back door area with plenty of space for walking boots or children’s bikes etc; cloakroom with WC and washbasin; a pantry with fridge/freezer and lots of shelf space for food etc; the kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, toaster, and the oak kitchen table seats 6 or 8 when fully extended; the drawing room has an old inglenook fireplace with wood burning stove (we supply logs) a glorious view across the valley and comfortable oak sofa and chairs, there is a desk and TV /DVD.

Upstairs there is a large double bedroom and a smaller twin bedded room. Both rooms have hanging cupboards and we have high quality cotton bed-linen and towels. The bathroom has a shower over the bath, WC, washbasin and an airing cupboard.

The cottage is a really lovely spot all the year round. It is kept warm and cosy in the winter with central heating as well as the wood burner. In the summer the terrace is a perfect place to sit and enjoy the beautiful surrounding countryside and stunning views - outdoor chairs and a table are provided, as is a BBQ. The cottage sits within a large enclosed garden with sloping lawns and a herb bed. Excellent stargazing.

Bank Cottage is situated across a small valley from Crickley Barrow and within sight of Colt Horse Cottage, about a mile and a half from Northleach. It is accessed along the farm drive and then up a short single track, which ensures complete privacy.

Children welcome - No pets please.
